Wolfgang Oppermann (1937−2001), who taught for a long time at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg, has since the 1970s condensed the concepts, codes, and rituals of art into reduced pictorial signs that illuminate the language of the art system with equal precision and playful-ironic wit. The exhibition takes place in cooperation with saasfee*, where the work of Anna Oppermann (1940−1993) will be on view until the end of November.
