DORO KOIDL
sempre in movimento
Exhibition from 2.2.-15. 3.2018
Opening on February 2, 2018, 6 pm
Henning Weidemann speaks at the introduction
For Doro Koidl the real world is only an incentive to express herself. In her new, increasingly non-representational paintings, she intensifies the contrasts of dark and bright tones. The abstract, the dissolved, gains structure and relief through the use of integrated materials such as tissue paper, rabbit netting and others. This is the second solo exhibition of the artist, who trained at the Städelschule under Michael Croissant, Karl Bohrmann and Johann Georg Geyger, at the gallery.
