Her pictures combine Gabriele Aulehla (* 1963) creates crossed color gradients in arcs and waves. In reduced colors, the former master student of Thomas Bayrle several translucent layers of color on top of each other, bright areas stand out like lights. Although the proportions and colors are clear and precise, the overall structure appears surprisingly animated. What is reminiscent of lights and shadows from a distance is revealed up close as the materiality of her painting.
