February 25 celebrates Wanda Pratschke her 80th birthday. To mark the occasion, the gallery is showing works by the figurative Frankfurt artist
in a solo exhibition. Modeled after the living model, which the sculptor first senses by painting and drawing, the
three-dimensional sculpture in bronze by adding, chipping off and re-adding the modeling clay.
Her latest bronzes, whose rough surfaces have now been heightened with gold, are on display.
