1994-2002: Studies at the Düsseldorf Art Academy (painting)

2005: Villa Romana Prize, Florence

2014: Studio residency at the Cité des Arts, Paris

2014-2018: Professorship for the orientation phase/basics of fine arts/painting at the HfBK Dresden

2018-2022: Professorship for Painting and Graphics/Art Education at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle an der Saale
