biography

Marco Spitzar

Marco Spitzar was born in 1964 in northern Germany and moved with his parents to Bludenz in Vorarlberg in the 1970s. The textile industry, in particular Getzner Textil, was the reason why his father moved to Vorarlberg. Marco Spitzar attended the School of Applied Arts in Graz and then the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna in the master class for sculpture with Bruno Gironcoli.
